News from our activities out in the community
BHEBS leads the coalition of West London Education Business Partnerships whose responsibility it is to promote STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) across our schools. This takes place through a variety of initiatives and activities all across West London.
It is imperative that the prominence of these subjects is increased in society in order to ensure a productive and highly skilled workforce for the future.
In this page we aim to raise awareness of the projects schools have been participating in to advocate STEM as well as Work Related Learning and Enterprise.
The students at Shaftesbury High School took part in an Enterprise day on 17th May 2010
Brent and Harrow Education Business Service has been awarded the High Impact Badge of Honour by Global Entepreneurship Week 2009.
The Sixth-Form students at Woodfield School in Brent recently took part in an enterprise activity with a twist. Students were placed in groups and informed that each group would be a record company. Over the course of the session they had to come up with a concept and model for a new compilation CD.
