Events Planner
Students release their inner Jennifer Lopez in this activity, designed to test their project management and budgeting skills to the max.
The aim of this activity is to enable students to take a project specification and take this to it's conclusions. This includes adapting to changing circumstances and coping with financial structures. The major objective of the Events Planner is that skills are applied during the activity and practical lessons learned.
Through this activity young people can:
- Develop awareness of decision making
- Gain communication and teamwork skills
- Understand the steps necessary to complete a project on time and on a budget
- Recognise, develop and apply their skills for enterprise and employability
- Learn about the way business enterprises operate
