Fair Trade
To help students experience some of the frustrations and difficulties of living in a country where the economy is unstable.
Students will have to run a business to try and make ends meet. They will feel the frustration of rising prices and lack of control over inflation. They will be competing against each other in a limited market, helping them to understand the difficulty of making enough money.
Through this activity young people can:
- Understand the concept of fair trade
- Assess, undertake and manage risk
- Practice communication and teamwork
