This task sees students designing a mobile phone holder - a product most young people can engage with.

After creating their own prototype, teams must then make a sales pitch to a panel, showing they have thought about aspects such as design, product placement and marketing.

Through this activity young people can:

  • Develop an awareness or decision making
  • Practice communication and teamwork skills
  • Exercise their creativity
  • Recognise, develop and apply their skills for enterprise and employability
  • Engage with ideas, challenges and applications from the business world
  • Learn about the way a business enterprise operates
