Supermodels
A fashion-based task which takes an idea from a prototype to a marketable business proposition.
Do you have the new Vivienne Westwood in your midst? In this task, students are required to create and present a 'new outfit for our times'.
The activity allows the students to develop their team-working skills as they compete against each other in groups to produce the outfit.
Through this activity young people can:
- Develop awareness of decision-making
- Practice communication and teamwork
- Understand the skills necessary to complete a project on time and to a budget
- Recognise, develop and apply their skills for enterprise and employability
