On these day-long events, BHEBS business partners work through a variety of activities with students, to encourage a realistic view of the work place and share with young people their own personal experiences of the world of work.

Through this activity young people can:

  • Increase their understanding of the world of work.
  • Be well-prepared for their work placements.
  • Build up their confidence to go on their assignment.
  • Recognise, develop and apply their employability skills.
  • Understand the importance of working safely on their assignment.

CV and Application Form Completion

  • An impressive CV or application form helps students stand out in a crowded job market and can open doors to opportunities.
  • The BHEBS team offer sessions to help students write a stand-out CV that will impress employers and admissions officers.
  • This programme can be delivered solely by the BHEBS team or with the assistance of our business partners
